- Tenaciousness is a competency.
- When starting this class, I thought everything was doable until I started receiving assignments from all over my courses. I was thinking of the workload per class rather than the overall workload. Thus, I started developing time management skills where I start reading the assignments earlier so I can formulate a plan rather than waiting until the very night to do the assignment. I used to do it really late at night, but now I feel more at ease whenever I start the assignment a day or two earlier. I am trying to better myself by making sure that I have enough time for myself in an academic sense along with my social sense.
- Tenaciousness is also about attitude.
- I felt like giving up whenever I had too much on my plate such as for dancing for an organization while doing the assignments here. Whenever I have exams, I started focusing all my attention on my exams rather than classes individually. However, I realized that if I complete the assignments earlier, I would have less things to stress about and more time to focus on my exams rather than just constantly worrying about the assignments piling up. I have to keep my grades up and that is a huge motivation because I want to strive for greatness rather than being mediocre.
- Three Tips
- Get all the assignments done asap rather than waiting for it last minute! You need time to think and these assignments will help you in the long run. I accidentally procrastinated submitting a video, and that caused me to lose three percentage which is a huge no in this class!
- Make sure you take notes during the lecture, it will help you in the long run when doing the cupcakes!
- Don't wait until the last minute to take the cupcakes! You have a whole weekend so it should be doable as long as you watch the videos!

Hello Dan,
ReplyDeleteI like your tips about the cupcakes! For upcoming students, this is really helpful information as every point matters in this class. Also, I completely agree that manage your time and planning when to do work for this class is key. If you start to fall behind, it is hard to catch back up. This is where your point of attitude comes in. You must keep a positive attitude through every class, or else you will get discouraged and the work will overwhelm you. If you settle out time to do this class there is no reason you shouldn't be successful. The photo you posted makes me think of a good tip, and that is to study with friends! This will help with keeping a positive attitude as friends will keep you happy and get your mind off of school for a little.
Hi! The picture you included is so fun! I really liked your tips overall. I definitely wasn't sure if I should be taking notes on the lectures, but once I started taking more cupcakes I definitely realized I should. I think it's great that you included that so students don't have to do a trial and error. I like the examples you use for having a tenacious attitude! I'm glad to see you didn't give up on anything.
